Introduction:
SHARE manufactures plain and twill stainless steel filter mesh (Wire Mesh Material: AISI304, AISI304L, AISI316, AISI316L) to clients' requirements

Plain weave wire cloth is woven by alternating the shute/weft wire over and under the warp wire, creating a wire mesh. Twill weave wire cloth is woven by passing the shute/weft wire over and under two warp wires, creating a sturdier weave. This weave allows for the use of heavier wires, producing a stronger wire mesh.

Applications:

Both weaves are economical; with the plain weave the most common and economic to produce. Uses of wire mesh include:

  • Sizing
  • Particle separation and filtering
  • Particulate sifting
  • Safety and equipment protection.

Sifting and Filtration acid and alkali conditions. Widely applied in the industries of mining, petroleum, chemical, foods, medical and mechanical manufacture. Special size and specification are available according to customers' requirement.

A,B,C About the Mesh

1. Mesh: Designates the number of openings per inch (25.4mm)
2. Designates the measurement of the clear open space between parallel adjacent wires.
    Opening Size=25.4 mm÷Mesh Count−Wire Diameter
    Pitch=Opening Size+Wire Diameter; or 25.4mm÷Mesh Count
    Open Area %=(Opening Size)2÷(Opening Size+Wire Diameter)2×100
3. Designates the diameter of wire before weaving. With a same mesh count, when the wire diameter is different, the opening size and open area are significantly changed.
