Ultrasonic welding is an industrial technique whereby high frequency ultrasonic acoustic vibrations are locally applied to workpieces being held together under pressure to creat a solid-state weld. It is commonly used for plastics, however, ultrasonic-welding techniques can also be used to weld mesh, cut mesh into different shapes and weld mesh into tubes.

How to convert micron into mesh size

Microns are a measure of length equal to one millionth of a meter. Small particles are often measured in microns, therefore it is necessary to convert from microns to the corresponding mesh size when you need to determine which size of filter needs to be used to capture specific particles.
